Tutorial 3.0: Protecting Documents Using VBA

Excel has a feature that is relatively unknown but that can make you as powerful as a Spartacus.  Okay, so it won’t turn you into a gladiator, but you just as well might be considered a gladiator if you know how to manipulate and control Excel using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).  This relatively simple (it has its complexities) programming language for Excel will allow you to go one step further in protecting and controlling your documents.  While this tutorial won’t teach you how to write VBA code, it will give you code that we have written and collected that will enable (or disable in this case!) some particular features in Excel if you so desire.

Tutorials:

3.1 Protecting Documents Using VBA

3.2 Eliminate Hot Keys Using VBA

3.3 Password Protect VBA

3.4 Excel and Word Hot Keys
